Cause: Media Center update
Solution: Run the attached batch file or do the following:
Close Media Center
Click on the Start menu, choose run and type cmd
Type: regsvr32.exe atl.dll
Type: cd \
Type: cd windows
Type: cd eHome
Type: ehSched /unregServer
Type: ehSched /service
Type: ehRecvr /unregServer
Type: ehRecvr /service
Type: ehRec.exe /unregServer
Type: ehRec.exe /regserver
Type: ehmsas.exe /unregServer
Type: ehmsas.exe /regserver
Restart Media Center

If that doesn't work:
Go to Add/Remove Programs
Check the box labeled Show updates at the top
Scroll to the bottom of the list of installed programs
Remove the most recently installed Media Center updates

Windows Media Player doesn't display information for the CD Tracks

This problem happens either because Windows Media Player is not allowed to connect to the Internet to retrieve the information or because Windows Media Player is incorrectly configured
In order to configure Media Player to get the information for the tracks you need to go to Tools/Options/Privacy and make sure Retrieve media information for CDs and DVDs from the Internet is checked

Cause
Your registry cleanup utility deleted the Most Recently Used(MRU) list for My Pictures.
Solution
1. Go to Start, click run and enter regedit
2. Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\MRU\PicturesMRU
3. Set the value of this key to 0.

If you have difficulties finding the key run the attached batch file.
