Double clicking on a folder opens Search

Symptoms: Double clicking on a folder opens an Explorer search window.
Cause: Corruption of this registry key: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ Directory\ shell]
Solution:
Click Start, choose Run and execute regedit.
Navigate to: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
On the right hand side double click on "default" and change the value to none
Navigate to: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
On the right hand side double click on "default" and change the value to none
