Description:

Attempts to resolve a Media Center startup error caused by a misconfiguration in the Most Recently Used list.

Media Center has encountered a problem and need to close

Cause
Your registry cleanup utility deleted the Most Recently Used(MRU) list for My Pictures.
Solution
1. Go to Start, click run and enter regedit
2. Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\MRU\PicturesMRU
3. Set the value of this key to 0.
