We're moving forward to the Startup tab where we find most of the startup entries. These entries are located inside the system registry on specific paths. There are several paths that can automatically run programs when windows starts. For an almost complete list of these paths click here .
Especially on a system that is infected with spyware it will take us way too long to verify these items one by one. Some systems have more than 60 items in the startup list. The easiest way is to click disable all at the bottom and then check back only the security software. You can recognize the security software by checking the directory were the item is located or you can click here for a list of some of the most common startup entries for security software.
Click on the next button to see what did we need to check back for Norton Internet Security.
