Now that we got spyware installed how to remove it?
Here's the plan:
1. We go in safe mode with networking.
2. We clean-up Internet Explorer from all the plugins and we reset the web page to default.
3. We download the free antispyware program called Ad-Aware to clean a first round of spyware
4. We take a look in Add/Remove Programs to see what Ad-Aware left behind
5. We disable all unnecessary and malicious startup items using the System Configuration Utility: MSConfig
6. Now we can go back in normal mode to see what was achieved.
7. If we still have problems we download Spy Sweeper and scan with it. This is a shareware program we can use only for 15 days but it is more powerful than Ad-Aware is.

This removal procedure applies only to spyware infected systems that still have Internet Connectivity in Safe Mode w/Networking and use the Windows XP operating system.. For broadband systems that don't have internet in safe mode please view our Page Cannot Be Displayed section. This removal process doesn't apply to systems that have dial-up. For dial-up first you would have to go in safe mode to perform a clean boot and then go back in normal mode and follow the rest of the steps. So you would have to put step 5 before step 2.
